How I Keep Healthy & Fit At Home

This year has undoubtably been difficult for a number of reasons and it has affected us all differently. Our stressors are higher than ever, but at the same time, some of our stress coping mechanisms have been taken away from us. Many people use going to the gym and exercising as a form of relaxation and to channel their negative energy.

With many gyms still closed - it has been even more important to feel confident that you can still work out and destress at home. And who knows, maybe you will enjoy it so much that you will no longer need to pay for a gym membership and you can continue to work out from home.

Here are some of my favourite ways to exercise from home:

Daily Walk

So, first of all there is the humble daily walk. Getting out into nature is an easy way to boost endorphins at the same time as having your daily dose of fresh air. When was the last time you went for a walk in nature?

Indoor Spin Bike

So this is something that may not be attainable for everyone, but if you can afford it I highly recommend an indoor spin bike. My fiancee actually got one for his birthday and I have totally hijacked it. I go on the spin bike for around 30 minutes at the end of each day and it makes me feel great. It is also a great time for me to listen to some music and have a sing song - why not?!
